Cadema has no data business behind it. That is not a policy detail — it is the reason the app exists in this shape.

What we collect

Nothing about you, your notes, or how you use the app. There is no account system, so there is no profile to attach anything to.

The app contains no analytics library, no advertising identifier, and no third-party tracking script.

Your notebooks are stored in ordinary files on your own device storage. You can back them up, copy them, or delete them with your normal file tools.

Recognition and search run on your device. Handwriting is never uploaded for processing.

No analytics scripts run on this site. Fonts are the only third-party request, and no cookie is set for advertising or measurement.

The contact form uses a bot-protection challenge to stop automated abuse. It checks that a request is human; it does not profile you.

Any future sync will be opt-in, off by default, and end-to-end encrypted so that we cannot read your pages even if we wanted to.

The app will remain fully usable without it, for as long as Cadema exists.

Because Cadema requires no account and collects no personal data, it can be used in classrooms without onboarding pupils into a data platform.

If this promise ever changes, the change will be published here before it takes effect, with the date it applies from.
